We understand that moving into a care home can sometimes be difficult and confusing. However, as soon as you enter our door, you will hopefully realise how at home we want you to feel. Our excellently trained staff provide care and support in a warm and friendly manner, whilst simultaneously enabling you to retain as much independence as possible. We recognise that each individual is unique, which is why our industry leading care plans are specifically tailored to each person’s needs. Incorporated in our personalised approach to care is our belief that every resident is entitled to their dignity and privacy and we take as much time needed to ensure your life is as fulfilled as you want it to be.
We pride ourselves on a person centred programme of care which will help to build upon your strengths and wishes to improve your quality of life and help you enjoy the community environment we work so hard to create and maintain. There is a friendly, caring yet responsible attitude at St Georges and this is attributed to the close liaison between our staff, headed by the Home Manager and the administrative team, care staff, cooks, housekeepers and maintenance personnel. Regular meetings are arranged with residents, the proprietor and the home’s Care Manager in order to discuss and assess individual needs.

Just a line to say 'thank you' for the superb level of care you provided for J during his time with you at St Georges for respite care, safe in the knowledge that all of Js needs were being met - especially at such short notice.
Once again, my grateful thanks to you and your staff.
Wishing you all the very best for Xmas and the New Year.

I wanted to write to express my grateful thanks to you and your team at St Georges for the excellent care and attention you all provide to my step-mother.
Joan has been at St Georges for over a year and often mentioned it is like staying in a 5 star hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for any member of staff who are tireless in their support, care and attention to detail.
I thank you and all your staff for the efforts you put in to make Joan as comfortable as possible. I realise sometimes taking care of people who rely on a great deal of support must be simply exhausting, but you smile and remain cheery through it all.
Thank you on behalf of the Griffiths family and Joans friends who know she is being provided with the best of care at St Georges.

Many thanks to you and your team for the excellent care and support given to Mum during her respite stays at St George’s over the last year or so, particularly during her recent extended stay. She appreciates all the hard work and dedication to helping her and we as a family certainly do. It’s been great to see how much she’s improved because of that and reassuring to know that she’s been in a safe and caring environment.
We’ve particularly valued your patience and flexibility over the last few months, which has eased the process of working out the best long-term solution for Mum. We’ve also appreciated Senior Staff always taking time to talk to us and deal with any concerns and it’s been a pleasure to see familiar friendly faces when we’ve visited.
